Morena, MP: Sixty-eight persons were on Sunday arrested for allegedly trying to appear in the constable recruitment exam posing as someone else, police said.

On a tip-off, police swooped on various hotels and resthouses last night and arrested 68 fake examinees who had arrived to appear on behalf of other candidates. The raids continued till this morning.

According to police, the fake examinees — who hailed from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bihar, New Delhi and Haryana — used to charge Rs 5,000 for appearing on behalf of a candidate.

These candidates did not have admit cards although they possessed books and other documents related to the examination. (UNI)
