SHILLONG, Jan 4: A day after a PMAY-Urban beneficiary from Ri Bhoi bagged the ‘Best House Construction’ award, one Hamida Kharmawlong from Mairang Civil Sub-Division was awarded the same accolade among all States and Union Territories under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Urban scheme for 2019.
The award was presented to Hamida Kharmawlong by Durga Shanker Mishra, Secretary of Urban and Housing Affairs, Government of India, during a video conference meeting organised by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs recently.
