SHILLONG, Jan 5: An RTI activist, Doria Shabong, has written to the Mylliem Block Development Officer, seeking immediate action on the construction of road at Umlyngka Mawpun from PWD to Lang Majaw.
In a letter to the BDO, Shabong said ] the road construction was sanctioned during 2017-18 under the then MLA’s scheme for Rs 7 lakh, which is now under MGNREGA at a cost of around Rs 4 lakh.
She has also called for BDO’s action against those involved in cheating and misuse of MGNREGA programme.
