Plying of trucks on Umiam bridge regulated

KHLIEHRIAT, Jan 15: In the wake of the order pertaining to goods vehicle plying over Umiam concrete bridge, the Deputy Commissioner of East Jaintia Hills has informed truck drivers, transporters and drivers from the district that regulated movement of vehicles at night, carrying up to 30 MT (one vehicle at a time) of weight, is permitted with due intimation to the Deputy Commissioners of Ri Bhoi/East Khasi Hills.
