SHILLONG: The Shillong bench of the Guahati High Court has rejected the anticipatory bail sought by an alleged rapist while asking him to surrender before the East Khasi Hills Superintendent of Police. In an order passed by the Justice T Vaphei on Friday, the bail application of one Guiding L Tron was cancelled by the court following strong evidence presented against him by the police. Tron was arrested last year and booked under Section 341 of the IPC.
