Relocation
The District Project Officer, Meghalaya New and Renewable Energy Development Agency (MNREDA), West Garo Hills, has informed that the Office of MNREDA has been relocated to Araimile, Tri-junction opposite Apex Bank (MCAB), Tura, from Matchakolgre, Tura.
PDS quota
East Khasi Hills Deputy Commissioner (Supply) has informed that rice under NFSA and non-NFSA for February and wholemeal atta for January and February have been released through fair price shops. For AAY quota, scale of issue is 35 kg per card at Rs 3 per kg, PHH quota at 5 kg per head at Rs 3 per kg and non-NFSA at 7.215 kg per household at Rs 12.70 to Rs 13 per kg. Further, wholemeal atta will be distributed at the scale of 5 kg per card per month in urban areas and 3 kg per card per month in rural areas at Rs 10.50 per kg.
