New Delhi: Speaking in support of Salman Khurshid, Union Steel minister from Uttar Pradesh Beni Prasad Verma on Monday said that Rs. 71 lakh is too little for a minister like him to get into a scam.
Speaking to reporters, the minister said, “Rs.71 lakh is a very small amount for a Central minister to do a scam. I would have taken it seriously if the amount was Rs. 71 crore.” (Agencies)
