MPLFA organises bench press competition for nationals

SHILLONG, March 28: The Meghalaya Power Lifting and Fitness Association conducted a bench press competition at the Umsning Auditorium Hall as part of their selection process for the upcoming national level competition scheduled to be held in Goa during the month of June. The winners included Andrew Wahlang in the Open Category 59 kg, Anasthasius Ryndongsngi in the Open Category 66 kg, Karan Singh in the Open Category 74 kg, Ayaan Bhawan in the Open Category 83 kg, Tony Marshalling in the Below 120 kg, Jordan Hynniewta in the Sub-Junior Boys (17yrs), Kyrshanskhem Khongmalai in the Sub-Junior Boys (14 yrs), Erika Mukhim in Sub-Junior Girls, Suzie O Basan in the Women’s Open Category, Angel Mary Mylliem Umlong in Women’s Master, Anthony Nongrum in the Men’s Master 1 Category 74 kg and Mintu Boro in Master 1 (59).
