‘I’ve started loving my craft’

made a dream debut opposite superstar Shah Rukh Khan in 2008 with “Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi” says she never knew if she wanted to be an actress but acting has grown on her.

“I am just happy that I am getting to do the kind of work I always wanted to do. I started off without knowing whether I wanted to be an actress or not. But since I started doing films, I have started loving the craft,” Anushka told IANS on the sidelines of a press conference here Sunday.

Anushka’s work has been appreciated in movies like “Band Baaja Baaraat” and “Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl”. She says now she has developed a certain choice.

“Now I have aspirations like, ‘I want to do this kind of film, work with this kind of director or learn from this actor’. So I am happy that I am getting a chance to work with prolific directors,” she added.

The actress is busy promoting her forthcoming film “Jab Tak Hai Jaan” (JTHJ), which also stars Shah Rukh and Katrina Kaif. Late filmmaker Yash Chopra’s last directorial, it will hit theatres Tuesday.

She will also be seen in director Vishal Bhardwaj’s next project “Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola”, which is slated for release January next year. (IANS)
