SHILLONG: Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Speaker Charles Pyngrope on Tuesday inaugurated the Extension Building of Umpling Presbyterian Secondary School at Umpling, Shillong in the presence of Managing Committee members, members of Umpling Presbyterian Church, parents and students of the school.
Speaking on the occasion, Pyngrope lauded the role of the Managing Committee in the over-all management of the school while assuring all possible help would be extended for the future programmes of the school and for the development of education in Umpling locality.
The school was established in 1964 in the Primary Section and due to the hard work and dedicated service of the Managing Committee, the school has now been upgraded upto the Secondary Level.
