IMFL shops
The Deputy Commissioner (Excise) of East Khasi Hills has extended the closure of all bonded warehouses, IMFL ‘OFF’ shops, bars, hotels, clubs, canteens and outstills in the entire district until further orders. The DC’s order, however, said hat home delivery is allowed and can be carried out by IMFL ‘OFF’ licensees possessing home delivery license with effect from June 1 and subject to valid passes issued by the office of the DC (Excise) while following all COVID-19 protocols during delivery of orders.

Unclaimed body
The Joint Director of Health Services (SS), Shillong Civil Hospital, has informed that an unknown male patient, aged 70 years, was brought from Anjalee and was admitted in the Male Medical Ward, Bed No. 1, on May 27 night. The patient, however, expired on May 31 morning. The official, in a statement, requested all concerned to collect the body from the Hospital Morgue at the earliest, failing which it will be sent for disposal by the Shillong Municipal Board.

Agri materials
The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills has identified two shops at Mawlonghat to open for sale and supply of agri inputs materials and fertilizers. The two shops — M/S Bhabok B Syiem and M/S N Kharkongor — will open on Thursday and Saturday between 9 am and 3 pm.
