Construction of Jongksha indoor stadium likely to be over by Dec ’22

SHILLONG, June 26: The construction work of the state-of-the-art indoor stadium at Madan Tukhon, Jongksha, is likely to be completed by December 2022.
This was informed by Sports Minister Banteidor Lyngdoh, who reviewed the progress of the construction work on Saturday.
Lyngdoh also informed that the stadium, which is being jointly funded by the North Eastern Council and Meghalaya Government, is the beginning of many initiatives to give a push to the sports scenario in the state.
