SHILLONG, July 31: Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui has appealed to teachers to think innovatively to reach out to the students, especially at a time when institutes have resorted to online classes due to COVID-19 situation.
The education minister made this appeal on Saturday during the inaugural function of the golden jubilee celebration of the Meghalaya College Teachers Association.
The virtual function was also attended by member of Rajya Sabha WR Kharlukhi as the guest of honour.
Rymbui, who was the chief guest during the programme, appealed to the college teachers to not to shy away from responsibilities and instead come forward to share responsibilities with the government.
On the occasion, the education minister also released the commemorative logo of the Golden Jubilee, which will be used in all the Golden Jubilee communications of the Association.
