SHILLONG, Aug 29: The United Democratic Party (UDP) Shillong City District Committee has recognised the new elected office-bearers of the UDP Mawlai Circle with immediate effect.
The new body can start functioning from August 27.
It may be mentioned that the new body of the UDP Mawlai Circle was constituted on March 20 this at the residence of former UDP MLA, Embhah Syiemlieh.
The office-bearers include Raymond Khyriem (working president), OD Syiemlieh (vice president), Teiboklang Kharkongor (general secretary), Rapbor Mawiong and Eucimary Wanniang (joint secretaries), and Balakmenlang Dkhar (treasurer) Alex Lynser (chief organiser) among others.
