JOWAI: In order to ensure smooth flow of traffic at Phramer, Pasyih and Hynniawmer area along the NH-44, the office of the West Jaintia Hills Superintendent of Police, Jowai has made a new traffic arrangement in the area.

According to the arrangement, no coal-laden trucks coming from Wapung, Ladrymbai, Sutnga and Shangpung area proceeding to Tamabil (Bangladesh) will be allowed to cross Phramer village before 8:00 pm. Illegal parking along the highway has been prohibited and truckers were instructed to park their vehicle in places where there should be no obstruction to other vehicle plying on the road.
