SHILLONG, Sep 15: Along with rest of the country, the Regional Training Institute, Shillong, Office of the Accountant General (Audit), Shillong, and Office of the Accountant General (A&E), Shillong, jointly celebrated Hindi Diwas on Tuesday.
According to a statement, the programme, which was organised at Civil Accounts Sports and Cultural Club, Office of the AG (A&E) to mark the day, was inaugurated by lighting of the ceremonial lamp by group officers.
During the occasion, AG (A&E) Federick Syiemlieh released Navin Purvanchal Sandesh, an annual Hindi magazine.
The best three contributors of Navin Purvanchal Sandesh were also conferred with certificates and cash awards.
