NONGSTOIN: The District Election Officer (DEO), West Khasi Hills, S Kharlyngdoh has informed that voter’s slip and electors’ photo link prepared as instructed by the Election Commission for the purpose of the Assembly election 2013, will be issued to all the electors of West Khasi Hills District through the Booth Level Officers to each every village from January 12.
Meanwhile, the DEO said that some candidates have published calendars for the year 2013 and were distributing them among the general public.
Such candidates are to retain from further distribution of the calendars, he said, while asking those candidates who have published the calendars to submit a copy of the same to the District Election Office within the next five days. The address of the printing press where the calendars were published should also be intimated to the Office.
