Bodies recovered
On February 10 around 7 am, the body of one Ranjit A Sangma (36) was recovered from a place between Pathargittim and Jadi Bazar in South Garo Hills. On the same day at 4 pm, body of Gudhu Barman (43) was recovered from Rongsa Awe in the same district.
Attack
On February 9, Adoni M Sangma attacked Ringrang Dombe B Marak with a knife at Jengitchakgre village in East Garo Hills. As a result, the victim sustained injuries. Police have arrested the accused.
One Tejinder Kr Saluja lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on February 7 around 7.30 pm, Reuben Kharsati assaulted and threatened the staff of Shotz Bar at Police Bazar, Shillong.
Rape
Edlin Khongsngi lodged a complaint at Pynursla PS that on February 2 at around 9 pm one Syiai Khongmawloh allegedly raped his minor daughter (13) at Urksew Wahpathaw in East Khasi Hills. Police have arrested the accused.
Robbery
Police arrested one Amir Kharliyon in connection with a robbery case under Laitumkhrah PS.
