Election related programme
To urge the youths to come for voting on the all important day on February 23, the Chief Electoral Officer is organising a musical evening on Valentine’s Day for the youths of the city. The musical evening will feature bands like Sumersalt, Strait Brothers and other who will take the stage at Khyndailad from 6 pm to 8 pm. In addition roses will also be put up for sale from 9 am at Khyndailad.
Notification
The Governor has reconstituted the State Level Committee to enquire into complaints regarding sexual harassment of women at work places. The committee includes the Secretary of Personnel and AR Department as Chairperson, Superintendent of Police of East Khasi Hills, Director of Social Welfare, and president to the North East Network, Director of Manbha Foundation, advocate as members and the Deputy Secretary and Under Secretary, Social Welfare Department, as member secretary.
MoU
The Meghalaya Rural Bank will sign an MoU with Tata Motors Ltd. on February 15 at 3.30pm at the premises of the Meghalaya Rural Bank in Khyndai Lad.
