Shillong Sixers, Vidya SC and Hallabol Jr register wins

Shillong, Dec 24: Shillong Sixers, Vidya SC and Hallabol Junior won their respective matches at the 9th Ardhendu Chaudhuri Memorial Day and Night Cricket Tournament here on Friday.
In the first match, the Sixers took on Innings. Innings batted first after winning the toss. They put on a challenging 53 runs in 6 overs. The Sixers chased the target with 8 balls to spare, winning the contest by 5 wickets. Sandeep Roy of the Sixers bagged the Player of the Match award.
In the second game, Vidya SC beat Warriors by 4 wickets. Earlier, Warriors had won the toss and chose to bat first. They scored 40 runs in their allotted 6 overs. Vidya knocked of the required runs with 2 overs to spare. Jitendra Thakur was adjudged the Player of the Match.
In the final game of the night, Hallabol Jr demolished Skywalkers. Hallabol Jr won the toss and invited their opponent to bat first. Skywalkers could only manage 12 runs in 4 overs before being bowled out. Hallabol Jr then chased the target in just 1.2 overs, thereby winning the contest by 6 wickets. Deepak Thapa was declared the Player of the Match.
