SHILLONG, Jan 18: Deputy Chief Minister, Prestone Tynsong on Tuesday termed KHNAM legislator, Adelbert Nongrum’s demonstration as ‘political drama’.
“It is not fair to protest when the state government is making serious efforts,” Tynsong said, adding that long-pending issues cannot be resolved in a day or two.
Tynsong said the government is taking steps on a war footing to resolve these issues. “I am sure people can see the seriousness with which this government is working,” he said.
