Complaints

Deputy SP, DSB of East Khasi Hills RS Mawlong lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on February 22, a Bangladeshi national, Badhon Chiran lodged with his wife, Sumona Mankin, at Elgin Hotel, Shillong despite the expiry of his Visa.

TSR Marak, Magistrate, East Khasi Hills lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on February 22 around 11.18 am, three persons, Subrata Modak, Bittu Biswas and Seema Saha were displaying poster of UDP Candidate of West Shillong Constituency in their vehicle (ML-05K-2610) at Bivar Road, Shillong.

JD Suchiang, MCS lodged a complaint at Shillong Sadar PS that on February 22 around 12.45 am, a vehicle (ML-05J-4944) driven by Franky Syiemlieh displayed the symbol KHNAM (Dao) at Umsohsun Parking Lot, Shillong.

A. Mukhim, MCS lodged a complaint at Shillong PS that on February 23 around 1.45 pm, a vehicle (ML-05G-1955) displayed a flag bearing the symbol of candles at Polo Hills, Shillong.

Rape attempt

A lady lodged a complaint at Jowai PS that on February 21 at around 3.30 pm, one Lam Phawa attempted to rape her at her residence at Pasyih village (WJH).

Theft

On February 24 , two unidentified miscreants stole iron rods from the residence of one Beryl E. Khyriem at Nongrim Hills, Shillong. In this connection, Police arrested one Khrawbok Kharkongor.

Assault

On February 24 around 11 am, unidentified miscreants assaulted one Bijay Deb Barman (30) at Khyndailad, Shillong. He sustained injuries and was shifted to the Civil Hospital.

On February 23, unidentified miscreants assaulted one Shamborstar Kharbudnah (20) at 3rd Mile, Upper Shillong. As a result, the victim sustained injuries and was shifted to Civil Hospital.

Threat

On February 23, one Pynbait Sutnga threatened one Purimai Bamon (50) with dire consequences at Sutnga village (EJH).
