lA motorist and a pillion rider sustained injuries after they fell off the motorbike near the L. P. School at Bandra Abingre under Gambegre Block, West Garo Hills. The incident happened on March 1 at 7:58 PM, while they were heading towards Rakmanpara from Dolagre. The injured, Anen D. Sangma (40/M) and Bagi M. Marak (45/M) were shifted to Tura Civil Hospital.
lA Maruti 800 coming from Jowai was involved in a head on collision with a truck at Umphyrnai under Mawryngkneng Block, East Khasi Hills on March 1 at 5:31 PM. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Laitumkhrah helped in shifting Bernard Pakma (58/M) and Hehbor Mukhim (38/M) to Shillong Civil Hospital.
