SHILLONG: The monthly Inter-Media Publicity Coordination Committee (IMPCC) meeting was held at the PIB Conference Hall in Shillong on Wednesday to discuss the publicity activities carried out during the month.
It was attended by Central Media Unit officials from PIB, DFP, DAVP, AIR and DDK. The themes which were covered during the month are the Meghalaya Assembly Election 2013, Voters Awareness Campaign, schemes of STs, Railway budget 2013-14, World Cancer Day, programmes for handloom weavers, programmes on children, World Broadcasting Day, Health programmes, Agriculture and Horticulture etc. The theme on Women’s Empowerment was adopted for the month of March 2013.
