SHILLONG: The General Officer Commanding in Chief, Eastern Command, Lieutenant General Dalbir Singh, visited the Headquarters 101 Area. He was received by Lt Gen RS Panwar. During his two day visit which culminated on Sunday, the Army Commander had wide ranging discussions with senior army officers of Shillong, and was briefed on various issues and steps taken to improve the quality of life of all ranks and their families.
He appreciated the infrastructural developments, high standard of training and high morale of troops. Lt Gen Singh visited 58 Gorkha Training Centre (GTC).
