Office-bearers
The triennial election of the office-bearers of Youth Hostel Association of India, Meghalaya State Branch, for the term 2022-2025 will be held on May 21. Members of the association can collect nomination forms from the State Secretary, [c/o Laban Bengalee Boys’ Higher Secondary School, Shillong, (9436101862)]. The last date of submission of nomination forms is April 20. Election will be conducted for the post of president, three vice-presidents, chairman and treasurer.
Unclaimed body
The Joint Director of Health Services (SS), Civil Hospital, Shillong has informed that one, Ganesh Chettri, aged 45 years, C/o PAB, Civil Hospital, Shillong was admitted in the CCU, Bed No 3 at 4.40 PM on February 3. However, the patient expired at 12.05 PM on February 12. All concerned relatives of the deceased are requested to collect the body from the morgue of the hospital immediately or within three days from the date of issue of the notice, failing which the dead body will be sent for disposal by the Shillong Municipal Board.
