SHILLONG, March 3: The Shillong Sports Association (SSA), in a statement, has informed that there will be no relegation from this season’s Third Division and that four teams will, in fact, be promoted from the Third Division to Second Division.
Another four teams will climb from the Fourth Division to Third Division next year.
As a result, all participating teams that qualify for the semi-finals of both the Third and Fourth Divisions this season will find themselves in a win-win situation regardless of their match results.
