SHILLONG, March 8: The Shillong Times Editor Patricia Mukhim has been nominated a member of Core Advisory Group on Environment, Climate Change and Human Rights, which has been constituted by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC).
According to a statement, other members of the Advisory Group include Dr MC Mehta, Founder MC Mehta Environmental Foundation, RR Rashmi, Distinguished Fellow and Programme Director, Earth Science and Climate Change, TERI, Niranjan Deo Bharadwaj, Distinguished Advisor, Global Foundation for Environmental Advancement and Human Wellness, Dr Pramod Kant, Adjunct Professor, Advanced Institute of Wildlife Conservation, Chennai, Prof NH Ravindranath, Center for Sustainable Technology, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and Environmentalist Sundaram Verma.
