SHILLONG, March 16: A body of a man with cut injuries was recovered from Lummawbah area on Wednesday. According to police, the victim was stabbed and his throat was found slit.
The post-mortem will be conducted on Friday and the body will be kept at Shillong Civil Hospital morgue.
Police have, meanwhile, registered a case of murder in this regard.
