House pays tribute to departed leaders

SHILLONG, March 16: The Meghalaya Legislative Assembly on Wednesday paid its respect to the two senior leaders, Rowell Lyngdoh and Atul C Marak, who passed away recently.
The House observed two-minute silence after several leaders —including Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Opposition leader Mukul Sangma, Assembly Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh — recalled the contributions of the two political leaders to the state.
