SHILLONG, April 14: A complaint has been filed with the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills, against a contact number (9695747823) for impersonating Cabinet Minister Sanbor Shullai.
According to the plaint, the number was used to send WhatsApp message to the Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary department and other officers of the department.
Action has been sought against the impersonator.
Earlier, a nearly similar case was reported which involved Assembly Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh. His name was being used to dupe people via WhatsApp.
