City school’s infirmary unit inaugurated

SHILLONG, May 1: An infirmary of Ruprekha High School was inaugurated in the city recently.
Social activist Michael Kharsyntiew helped with the renovation of the Principal’s room and office of the school.
Dwarka Singhania, president of Assomia Namghar Ruprekha, besides the management members, school Principal, teachers and students were also present during the programme.
Ruprekha School, one of the oldest schools of Shillong, was established in the year 1964 and has since been providing affordable education to the weaker section of the society.
The night section of the school has enabled the working class to avail education.
