14-year-old bags award for her book

SHILLONG, June 4: Fourteen-year-old Nayaab Suhel, a student of BSF senior secondary school who had recently authored In the abode of clouds, has bagged Potential Navigators of Knowledge (PNK) Young Authors Award 2022.
The award programme was organised by Takhte Writers and Publishers for children and teens with an objective to encourage and recognise young authors, and build a capable writers’ community.
Of the entries received this year, Suhel was adjudged the winner for her book Gobo and the Enchanted Toadstool.
It may be mentioned that the 14-year-old has already authored three books.
Meanwhile, the Inspector General of BSF Meghalaya has congratulated Suhel on her success and complimented faculty of BSF senior secondary school for offering extracurricular activities for students besides working on their academic uplift.
