Man gets 20 years in jail for raping minor

SHILLONG, June 5: One Edison Nongrum has been convicted of raping a minor in 2013 by the Special Judge of POCSO court, FS Sangma.
Informing this, Special Public Prosecutor, E Rynjah, said that the convict was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment with a fine of Rs 2 lakh and in default of payment of fine, another year of imprisonment.
