Dinesh Basumatary lodged a complaint that between 12.30 pm and 6.30 pm on June 8, unknown miscreants broke into his house at Upper New Colony, Laitumkhrah, Shillong, and stole computer items and household articles valued around Rs 1.7 lakh.

Headmaster-cum-Secretary, Golmanggre LP School in South West Garo Hills, Hardy M Sangma, lodged a complaint that on the night of June 3, four batteries were found missing from the school building.
Tailash Ch Marak lodged a complaint that on May 26, telecommunication equipment were found missing from RJIL Tower at Danakgre Tura, West Garo Hills.
Buffaloes found
Party Commander, F-Coy 4 Bn., BSF, SP-Tilla BOP, West Jaintia Hills, lodged a complaint that around 9 pm on June 7, BSF personnel observed movement of suspected miscreants near BP No. 1293/7-S in West Jaintia Hills. However, the miscreants managed to flee. Later, the BSF personnel detected four buffaloes.
