Students of Nongstoin College feted

NONGSTOIN, July 10: Students of B.A B.Sc and B.Com from Nongstoin College were felicitated for their success in the final examination as part of the graduation day celebration of the college.
A sum of Rs 5,000 along with memento each was given to four rank holders from the department of Zoology.
Four teachers of the college — Richard Lyngkhoi, Jean Marbaniang, R Sangpliang and R Nongrum — were also feted for completing their PhD.
Prof H Lamin, Pro Vice-chancellor-cum-Director of College Development Council, NEHU, Shillong, was the chief guest of the programme along with other guests including EAC, West Khasi Hills, E Dkhar, and members of the college’s governing body.
Pass percentage for both Science and Commerce stream in the college was logged at 100 per cent while Arts achieved 96 per cent pass percentage.
Students who figured in the provisional merit list of B.Sc (Zoology honours) examination 2022 are Dariakor Kurbah (4th position), Fidalia Wahlang (5th position), Pretilis Merry Byrsat (7th position) and Meridalin Kharbani (10th position).
