SHILLONG, Aug 23: Wide-ranging activities and competitions such as essay writing, painting, story-telling, chess, singing, fancy dress and food fest marked the 29th foundation day celebrations of BBS College on Tuesday.
According to a statement, the programme was divided into two sessions.
In the first session, the college flag was unfurled, which was followed by the inauguration of the e-library and new classroom by the members of the governing body of BBS College.
During the programme, the contributions of the founding members were also recalled.
The second session, on the other hand, comprised various competitions and the distribution of prizes to the winners of the same.
