Yogamaya Ashram

The 38th Tirodhan Tithi of Sri Sri Thakur Suryananda Maharajji will be celebrated at Yogamaya Ashram, in Three Pine Colony, Laban on Tuesday (May 28). The Ashram has invited the devotees and people in general to ‘share the joy and seek the blessing of Divine Guru Maharajji.’ The celebration would start with Adhibhas at 6:30 pm on Monday followed by Mangal Arati at 6 am on Tuesday. The Sri Sri Guru Puja, Sri Sri Kali Puja and Sri Sri Mahakal Shiv Puja will be performed in course of the day and Prasad distribution will start 1:30 pm onwards.

Office bearers

The Meghalaya Economic Association has elected new office bearers with Dr (Mrs) NW Kharkongor as the president, KK Singh and Dr E Kharkongor as the vice presidents, besides others.

Awareness

The office of the general manager of the district commerce and industries centre, Jowai will organise an awareness programme on the scheme-National Mission on Food Processing at Amlarem C&RD block in Nongtalang on June 15, Khliehriat C&RD block in Narwan on July 16, Laskein C&RD block in Mowkaiaw on July 23 and Thadlaskein C&RD block in Niriang on July 30.
