Inauguration
Ranikor MLA Pius Marwein on Thursday inaugurated the Khonjoy A Government LP School at Ranikor Civil Subdivision in South West Khasi Hills, which has been constructed at Rs 37 lakh. The MLA, during the programme, also expressed gratitude to the MDA government for providing funds for school building repairs in Ranikor constituency.
Session
An interactive session on ‘Functional English for Learners’ was organised by the Department of English Language Education in collaboration with the IQAC, Martin Luther Christian University, on Friday. “The objective of the interactive meet was to acquaint students and faculty with new perspectives on the uses of Functional English,” a statement in this regard said. During the programme, students were encouraged to use questioning as an activity so as to engage in daily situational conversations.
