SHILLONG: The KSU has demanded the appointment of a local as the new Vice Chancellor of NEHU.

“He (Dr Syiemlieh) has earlier served at various positions in NEHU including Pro Vice Chancellor and also as Controller of Examinations,” Thabah said.

Besides Syiemlieh, the KSU also backed Prof M Myrboh, Pro-Vice Chancellor of NEHU, Shillong campus and Prof Eugene Thomas, Pro-Vice Chancellor of NEHU, Tura Campus to succeed Prof AN Rai
