SHILLONG: The West Khasi Hills District Badminton Association will conduct the District Open cum Inter-School Badminton Tournament from July 17-18 at the Indoor Stadium, Nongstoin.
According to a press release sent by S Lyndem, the general secretary of the WKHDBA, the District Open tourney will feature three categories: junior (under-19 boys and girls), senior (men and women) and mixed doubles.
The Inter-School tournament will have two categories: U-15 (team) and U-17 (individual) for both boys and girls.
Players must bring their own playing kit. Those wishing to participate in the junior and the inter-school events must furnish a certificate verifying their age at the time of submitting their entries. The last date to register is July 15.
