Unclaimed body
On November 19, an unidentified man was found lying unconscious and injured on roadside at Mawlai Phudmuri. He was immediately shifted to Shillong Civil Hospital but was declared brought dead by the MO. Following the conduct of autopsy and other legal formalities, the body has been kept at NEIGRIHMS hospital morgue for identification and claim. According to a statement, the deceased is approximately 50-60 years old, has fair complexion, pointy nose, round face, medium built, short and grey hair, grey beard and moustache, is approximately 162 cm tall, and was wearing vest, black jacket, grey sweater, a pair of black tracksuit pants and brown canvas shoes.
The Superintendent of Police, Ri-Bhoi, has informed that an unknown male dead body was found lying in front of Kailash shop, Khanapara, Them Marwet. Subsequently, all legal formalities were observed and the body has been now kept at Nongpoh Civil Hospital morgue for identification. The deceased is 5 ft tall, has black hair and was found wearing green checkered T-shirt, a pair of black-and-white jeans trousers.
