NONGPOH: In a major blow to the Nationalist People Party (NPP) in Ri Bhoi District, the president of the Jirang NPP Block, Sosthenius Sohtun tendered his resignation from the party few days back.
Sohtun who quit as president of RBYF Byrnihat Circle was the lone NPP candidate who unsuccessfully contested the recent MLA election from Jirang Assembly Constituency.
