SHILLONG, Dec 19: The People’s Democratic Front (PDF) on Monday formally announced the candidature of Egenstar Kurkalang from Nongkrem constituency in the Assembly polls next year.
The decision was taken during the formal induction of the new office-bearers of the PDF Zonal Committee Nongkrem Constituency, which was held at Rangkyndur, Mylliem.
Cabinet Minister and party working president, Banteidor Lyngdoh, and former KHADC MDC, James Ban Basaiawmoit, were also present during the meeting.
