Shillong, Jan 27: BJP’s National Vice-President and party’s Meghalaya in-charge M Chuba Ao on Friday did not rule out that possibility of the BJP working again with the NPP after the  Assembly polls in the State.

Stating that everything is possible in politics, Ao said that they had to fight and win the elections by alleging each other.
“But once we win everything is forgotten,” BJP national vice president said while speaking to reporters.
When asked if they are going to work with the TMC if the BJP-NPP combination fails to win maximum seats after the polls, he said that it was too early to discuss that.
He said, “Let the poll results come out then we will decide the best formula to rule the State.”

According to him, the party believes in “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas”.

Ao also reiterated that in small states, the regional parties would need the BJP since running a state is very difficult given that everything depends on the Centre.

According to him, they will need the BJP’s help when they are in power and without the party they cannot go to Delhi.

“It is for this reason we are saying that without the BJP they cannot form the government,” BJP national vice president said.
