JOWAI: A helper of a truck (TR01R-1612) was critically injured when he was crushed after the truck capsized at Tahkhniang, Tuber in East Jaintia Hills on Wednesday afternoon.
An eye witnessed said the over speeding truck lost control at a turning and capsized as a result of which the helper sustained severe injuries on his thighs. It took the police almost an hour to pull him out before rushing him to Jowai Civil Hospital with the help of a 108 Ambulance.
