NONGPOH, March 17: The Ri-Bhoi Presbyterian Synod on Friday inaugurated its full-fledged office at Pahamlapong village in Ri-Bhoi on the sidelines of its silver jubilee celebration and also the Synod congregation being hosted by the Presbyterian Church, Nongpoh, from March 15 to March 19.
Moderator, General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church of India, BB Lamin inaugurated the office in presence of the pastors and church leaders.
During the day, the flag of the silver jubilee celebrations of the Ri-Bhoi Presbyterian Synod was also hoisted by LS Nongphlang, Moderator of Ri Bhoi Presbyterian Synod.
It may be mentioned that the Ri-Bhoi Presbyterian Synod, which consist of five Presbyteries, viz. Mawbuh Sarikrai Presbytery, Nongtluh Mathan Presbytery, Ri-Bhoi Shatei Presbytery, Ri-Bhoi Sepngi Presbytery and Ri-Bhoi Mihngi Presbytery, is celebrating its 25 years of journey and also the Synod congregation, which is being hosted by the Presbyterian Church of Nongpoh.
