4 killed in firing inside Army station in Bathinda; police say not a terror attack

Shillong, April 12: In an early morning incident, four persons inside a military station in Bathinda district of Punjab were killed in firing. However the police have ruled out the terror angle behind the firing incident.

The incident took place at around 4.35 am today. Indian Army’s 10 Corps is stationed in Bathinda. Quick Reaction Team s (QRT) immediately reached the spot and cordoned off the area.

Search operation is in progress but sources have informed that it was not a terror attack and apparently a fratricide incident.
