The Deputy Director of NERDDL, Jiten Gogoi, had written to the Director of AH&V department on April 19 informing the latter about the test results. The six positive cases have been reported from a government pig farm in Pynursla, East Khasi Hills, Nongkasen pig farm at West Khasi Hills and Nangiaikyrsoi SHG farm at Umsawniang, Ri-Bhoi.
