2 students from Ri-Bhoi, 3 from WKH fare well in boards

NONGPOH/NONGSTOIN, May 26: Two students from Ri-Bhoi have showcased their academic prowess in the SSLC and HSSLC examinations, the results of which were declared by MBoSE on Friday.
Banpynshngainlang Thangkhiew, a student of Patharkhmah Government Higher Secondary School, Patharkhmah, secured fourth position in the HSSLC examination with an impressive total of 445 marks.
When asked, Thangkhiew attributed his success to hard work, dedication and the unwavering support of his teachers and family.
Another student who brought laurel to the district is Saphirihun Lyngdoh from Alpha English Higher Secondary School, who secured 18th position in the SSLC examination, with an impressive total of 546 marks.
From West Khasi Hills, two students have featured in the top-20 list of the SSLC examination.
These two students include Springfield Snaitang of Sibsingh Memorial Govt Higher Secondary School, Nongpyndeng, who bagged eighth position with a total of 556 marks and Amelari Kyrpang Puwein of Anderson Higher Secondary School, Upper New Nongstoin, who secured 12th position with a total of 552 marks.
Meanwhile, Dasuk Mynsiem Dkhar of Anderson Higher Secondary School bagged the fourth spot in the top-10 list of HSSLC (Arts) examination with a total of 445 marks.
